Registration for All State Auditions is with our partners at Tennessee ThesCon. Registration opens in September of 2025.

2026 College Information

Thank you so much for your interest in being a part of our 2026 All State Theatre Auditions and State Thespian Conference Jan. 16th & 17th on the campus of MTSU in Murfreesboro TN.

Registration options:

• Option 1: Set up a table in the Student Union and participate in the audition process.

• $200 for 2 days

• 3-4 people recommended

• 4 meal tickets will be provided to eat in the dining hall.*

• Option 2: Set up a table OR only participate in auditions

• $100 for 2 days

• 2-3 people recommended

• 3 meal tickets will be provided to eat in the dining hall*

*additional meal passes can be purchased for $30 per person with no maximum

If you have faculty interested in teaching a workshop, or a full weekend of workshops for the Thespian Conference, please refer them to the Clinician information here. Please note for planning purposes, that auditions and workshops happen concurrently so Clinicians will not be available for auditions during their workshop times.

Audition procedures

• Auditions for Acting, Musical Theatre and Technical Theatre interviews will all be happening at the same time in separate rooms. You are welcome to "bounce" between rooms, but if you want to see all of any particular category you will need to have a dedicated person for that room. Here is a tentative audition schedule: 

Friday

3-5 pm Auditions  Acting / MT / Underclassmen/ Tech

5-6 pm  College Fair callbacks

6-7 pm Dinner for college reps

7-9 pm Auditions  Acting / MT / Underclassmen/ Tech

9-10 pm College Fair callbacks

Saturday

9-11am Auditions Acting / MT / Underclassmen/ Tech

11 am-12 pm College Fair callbacks

12-1pm - Lunch for College Reps

1-5pm Auditions Acting / MT / Underclassmen/ Tech

5-6pm - College Fair Callbacks

6-7pm - Dinner for College Reps

Overflow times (depending on registrations)

7-9 pm Auditions  Acting / MT / Underclassmen/ Tech

9-10 pm College Fair callbacks

• You will be sent and audition "book" for each category 1-2 weeks prior to the conference.  This pdf will contain student contact and academic information as well as links to uploaded resumes, portfolios and headshots.

• You will have an online adjudication form based on our rubrics that will be provided. This form will include student academic information and the callback process (see below).

• Post conference you will receive a spreadsheet with all student contact and academic information as well as average scores.

College callbacks

• Callbacks are automatically posted online as a part of the adjudication process (a simple check box on the form).

• Callbacks are essentially invitations to come talk to you at your table in the Student Union. Some things that are sometimes offered at these meetings: scholarships, admission to the program, invitations to campus auditions, waiver of application fees, etc. 

• You will have online access to your notes and scores for all students you call back at your table for reference. 

• There will be a dedicated callback time at the end of each audition block. 

• After the registration period ends, if there are specific needs or requirements you would like to discuss, please email Donna or Donald..

• We ask that, whenever possible, all callback conversations happen at the college tables in the student Union during scheduled callback times.

Set up a table in the Student Union

• Provides maximum face-time with sponsors and students on the 2nd floor of the Student Union.

• We will have tables with black tablecloths available.

• You are welcome to bring banners, giveaways, pamphlets, and anything else you’d like, as long as it is contained in your general area.

• You do not have to man your table at all times. We recommend bringing students to man table during audition times.
